Hello and welcome to my blog about (as the name suggests) Diecast Collecting In The UK. I'm currently away from home so these 2014 photos of my collection will have to be the accompaniment to this welcome post for now, but I'll soon edit it to show some more current models.

This blog, inspired by the likes of The Lamley Group of the USA and T-Hunted of Brazil aims to be my way of expressing my love of collecting Hot Wheels and Matchbox's best licensed vehicles, whilst testing and improving my photography skills in the process. I hope to give you posts on not only the latest upcoming models and significant news regarding the hobby, but also pieces that delve into the past and showcase some of the best diecast I've managed to acquire either at the time or via the second-hand market that  may have set the trend for current models or have become a rarity due to licensing fiascos or retired castings.

All in all, I really hope that this UK-based take on our and my experiences in the world of diecast collecting serves to please, interest and assist any aspiring or veteran collectors of the two brands.
