In Brief: Volcano Yellow joins the P1 party...

I've done a post on the P1 before, so let's make this short:

Fantastic casting, debuted in 2015 in trademark Volcano Orange with dark grey 10spokes, recoloured in another great stock colour, Mercury Silver with 10spokes to match. This year it returned to the mainline in Hot Blue, a brilliant colour, with the silver 10spokes. So it seems right that the fourth version sports the epic Volcano Yellow with the grey 10spokes of the First Ed. The trio has become a quartet, and I can't pick a favourite! Here they are in all their glory...

Ford's fantastic fast arm has been churning out fantastic new metal for the past year or so, and Hot Wheels has been sure to keep up, replicating all three of the 2015 Detroit Trio in Liquid Blue and the Focus RS in Nitrous Blue:

4 great new castings is enough to call 2016 the Year Of Ford for Hot Wheels, and all but one I've featured on the blog already. They truly have saved the best till last though...

The 2017 Ford GT is a top contender for my New Model of the year, because it's flawless - proportions, detail, wheel choice, everything is spot on, and Liquid Blue compliments it so well. Here it is in all its glory and with its counterparts from Detroit 2015...
